In Byron Bay today after a week since we left Sydney in the camper. The weather is amazing - high teens and even over 20 yesterday and today. A bit chilly in the evening and mornings. Today is like a mid summers day in Ireland and it's the middle of winter here!!
We have stayed in some lovely places. A mix of national parks and caravan parks. Yesterday we stayed in a place called Ilkua, some spectacular beach walks and we even managed a Rainforest trail with the buggy.....not easy but worth the view!
The boys are loving the camping, it was a bit strange the first few nights but they love it now. We stayed in a great National Park called Hat Head and awoke to see a family of kangaroos hopping around outside the van. Right now we are sitting in the camp kitchen in Byron Bay overlooking a gorgeous beach and watching some dolphins swim past. We are staying here for a couple of days and then a few days along the Gold Coast before we reach Brisbane. Lots of people to see in Brisbane so we're looking forward to that.
